Mit der Verleihung der Golden Globes 2015 tritt der Rückblick auf die Filme und Serien des letzten Jahres in die entscheidende Phase. Richard Linklaters Boyhood wurde nun als Bester Film (Drama) und für die Beste Regie ausgezeichnet, Patricia Arquette wurde außerdem für ihre Rolle in Boyhood zur Best Supporting Actress gewählt, Wes Andersons Grand Budapest Hotel ist die beste Komödie. Bei den TV-Produktionen waren The Affair, Fargo und Transparent erfolgreich. Julianne Moore, Eddie Redmayne, Michael Keaton und Amy Adams sind die Preisträger in den Hauptdarsteller-Kategorien (Film).
